Further 78 races were run at the second day of the 36th Optimist Team Cup almost finishing the second round robin. Already before the last 8 races of the qualification state, the four 4 teams, which will proceed to the finals, have been decided. Team Croatia leading the scoreboard already has a fixed place in the Grand Final to determine the winner of this year’s cup. The World Championship team of Sweden and the team of Emil Malmström, likewise from Sweden, will battle for the second starting slot in the final with the runner-up qualifying for the small final for the bronze medal. The small final will be complemented by the USA team from the Hampton Yacht Club.
