Optimist Team Cup 2023
Entry open starting April 1st 2023
This years optimist team cup will take place from October 19th (registration) to October 22th (price giving ceremony) 2023.

For registration you can either use the registration form attached below (starting April 1st 2022) or use the online registration, which will also be available starting April 1st 2022.
The total number of teams is limited to 16 with only one team per nation with the following exceptions:
- The club of the organizing authority may enter one team in addition to the German team
- One entry spot will be reserved for the winning nation (USA) of the last edition of the Optimist Team Cup. This nation may enter a second team.
- The organizing authorities retain the right to invite additional teams at their own discretion for the purpose of ensuring a complete field of 16 entries, especially but not exclusively in case of a short notice cancellation of an already registered team.
You will also have the possibility of principally enrolling a team first and to provide the informations on sailors, accompanying adults, accommodation wishes, boats and travel wishes at a later time point: However, accommodation wishes with families of the Potsdamer Yacht Club and options for the PYC shuttle service have to be communicated no later than October 8th 2023 for us to make the necessary arrangements. All registration requirements as stated in the Notice of Race have to completed and fees must be paid until October 19th 2023.
Early entry fees (payment until September 15th 2023) will be 370.00 EUR per team with 5 sailors and 300.00 EUR per team with 4 sailors. Regular entry fees (from September 16th 2023) will be 460.00 EUR per team with 5 sailors and 380.00 EUR per team with 4 sailors
3 days of sailing (Friday to Sunday) are scheduled.
The entry fee will include a breakfast for all competitors and coaches/team leaders on Friday morning, a social event with a warm meal on Saturday evening, crepes and cakes before the price giving ceremony on Sunday, and lunch bags on the water from Friday to Saturday.
For the sailors we offer accommodation with families of the Potsdamer Yacht Club including transfer from/to the club and breakfast from Thursday to Sunday (joint breakfast at the club on Friday morning) and on request a warm meal on Friday evening. For capacity reasons teams members may by allocated to two different families.
All payments have to be made free of charge or in cash/EC/Maestro at the registration desk at the Potsdamer Yacht Club on Thurday, October 19th 2023.

Charter ribs are available on request. Charges are 105.00 EUR/day (gasoline 2.00 EUR/l and deposit of 200.00 EUR).
